HTDSTUDIO was invited to assist a local children’s school with upgrading fire-worthiness throughout their building. After many years of inefficient patchwork service, HTDSTUDIO investigated existing conditions and created a comprehensive program that will reenable the school’s ability to operate its facilities safely. The addition of fire-rated walls and doors and egress clarification as well as consolidation and firestopping of mechanical air systems, new alarms and sensors are a key portion of the program.
