This is Newark: Urban Design and Activation Initiative

Views from above.

  • What is often overlooked about Newark as a major urban center is the majesty of its architectural treasures and landmark sites. Echoing adjacent industrial factories, lift bridges and other landmarks along the Passaic River; new observation towers and parks can once again uncover and celebrate these important sites. With a nod to their hardened surroundings, they help bare Newark's hidden pastoral soul to nourish its people.
