We were invited to collaborate with New York-based artist James Perkins to create a series of marble "feet" that allow large canvases to stand freely during exhibition. Various shapes in Carrara, black marble and solid Lucite'™ were designed and then fabricated in Italy and the US, which resulted in a formidable presence and visual impact of each seminal piece from the artists' "The Weight of My Appearance” and "Interview" series.
